▢ Arrive at Songbird Retreat Wedding Venue any time from midday

▢ The marquee will be already set up

▢ Florals and decorations can begin from midday

▢ Book into Songbird Cottage - if added to package - at midday

▢ Wedding rehearsal

▢ Give the wedding bands to the best man.

On Your Special Day: Songbird Service Team

▢ 9am Songbird wedding coordinator arrives, opens the venue and

Songbird Cottage, if booked as part of package

▢ Songbird service staff arrive and are briefed

▢ Tables and chairs are set up

▢ Table settings are set up, with help of family if desired

▢ Coordinator liaises with vendors over arrival time, set up location,

power and water needs, places any venue signage and equipment,

including any signage requested by the couple

▢ Coordinator does sound checks with the celebrant and DJ on

arrival, managing music and noise levels

▢ Coordinator pins boutonniere’s on the bridal party if requested

▢ Wedding planner assists MC and vendors with the running of the

day, being the point of call for any questions and issues that may

arise and ensuring compliance with venue rules, making calls to

adjust plans should there be wet weather.

▢ Service team (max. 3 dependent of number of guests) move chairs

and sound system from the ceremony to the marquee.

▢ Service team serve drinks and food, supplementing caterer servers

where needed

▢ Service team rinse tableware ready for collection by hire company

▢ Service team packs down furniture at evening’s end

On Your Special Day: You, the Happy Couple

▢ Breakfast at Songbird - if booked as part of your package

▢ Hair & Makeup and Pre-Wedding Photos

▢ The Groom arrives

▢ Canapes and champagne on the Cocktail Lawn

▢ Ceremony

▢ Photos

▢ Dinner, speeches and toasts

▢ Weekends: Cake and reception until 10.45pm when music turns off

Guests depart by coach at 11pm

▢ Week days: Cake and reception until 9.45pm when music turns off
